Which room requires air conditioning, or is there more than one?
Each type of room is a little different and will change how we approach your installation. If you’re looking to have more than one room air-conditioned you’ll need to select “more than one room” so multiroom pricing can be provided for you.

Which floor is the room on?

How big is the room you would like to air condition?
This is so we can recommend the most appropriate size of air conditioning system to suit your needs. If you’re unsure, select whichever option you think sounds closest. Our team will always double-check this for you before any installations are booked.

What type of wall would you like your indoor unit to be on?
We recommend a wall that faces outside (external). This is because you won’t need a pump, internal trunking or extra pipework, making your installation cheaper and quicker. It will also provide easier access for an engineer when you have annual maintenance. Don’t worry if an internal wall is your only option though, our engineers will still complete your installation just as easily.

Where would you like your outdoor unit installed?
Any of the below options can be selected, however you will find floor level or up to 3 meters are usually the most beneficial for your install.

What will be the distance between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit?
Your best estimate will be fine, you won’t need to be exact. This is so we can work out how much pipework you’ll need and we’ll double check this for you too.

Is there enough space for ventilation of the outdoor unit?
1.5 metres clearance between the wall where your outdoor unit will be fitted and any other obstruction is ideal, at least 1.2 metres is essential. Your outdoor unit will need adequate airflow to operate as efficiently as possible. Something such as another wall, boundary or a fence will need to ideally be 1.5 metres away to ensure your outdoor unit has the ventilation it needs. The very bare minimum would need to be 1.2 meters away. We won't be able to install your outdoor unit in that location if you don't have enough space.
